Unknown #043

A dark grey Ghia 1500 GT offered by the German classic-car dealer E. Thiesen KG, photographed on their trade plates while still carrying its earlier Roman registration, Roma 81 6478. It runs on Borrani wire wheels and has been fitted with an Alfa Romeo twin-cam engine, clearly visible in the engine bay photographs; the interior is black with a wood-rimmed wheel.

The German world register lists it at Tabelle1, line 14, as an Italian car passed on to Germany through the Thiesen dealership — with no chassis number recorded. Its photographs were published here for a time under chassis #0218018, which the register describes as a different car altogether.
